AIB ONLINE STUDENTS CAN EARN COLLEGE CREDIT

American Institute of Banking online students can now earn ACE college credits. A team of reviewers from the American Council on Education reviewed 12 AIB online courses and agreed to recommend each for three credits:

Analyzing Financial Statements • Commercial Lending • Consumer Lending
Economics For Bankers • Financial Accounting • General Accounting
Intro to Mortgage Lending • Law & Banking Applications • Law & Banking Principles
Marketing Financial Services • Money & Banking • Principles of Banking

Pennsylvania Bankers Association seeks to provide its members and members of co-sponsoring state associations with quality, cost effective education, thereby providing opportunities for their employees to enhance their career potential and improve the profitability of their institutions.

PBA Professional Development Network

PBA PDN is the umbrella organization for the local campuses across PA that provides administrative support for students, instructors, campus administrators, human resources officers/trainers,and volunteers. PBA PDN also administers self study or correspondence courses; acts as the initial contact point for AIB on-line courses; provides support for in-bank courses; maintains student recordkeeping; processes transcript and diploma requests; orders AIB textbooks; compiles PBA PDN course offerings; maintains and updates pbapdn website; and performs all other related functions for a successful continuing professional education program.

PBA PDN operates in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Bankers Association's (PBA) Education/Training Services Council but maintains a non-profit educational designation with a separate Board of Directors.
